Robutler Secures $400K From ZAS Ventures to Build the ‘YouTube of Software’
The platform lets creators publish, remix, and earn from free apps, while its underlying infrastructure helps AI agents find, trust, and work with one another.
Robutler has landed a $400,000 investment from ZAS Ventures, a US-based venture firm backing Ukrainian-founded companies in AI, SaaS, and robotics. Spread across the firm’s Fund I and Fund II, this marks Robutler’s first institutional funding.
A Shared Library, Built by Its Makers
Robutler has built a public platform offering a shared library of professional-grade applications spanning documents, presentations, design, video, engineering, whiteboards, project management, music, and games with real-time collaboration woven into each one. Every app is free to use. Creators publish their apps, allow others to remix and build on them, and collect a cut of the revenue whenever their work is used with earnings shared alongside the original makers they built upon.
“Think of Robutler as the YouTube of software,” said Volodymyr Seliuchenko, the company’s Founder and CEO. He described the model as one where every app is free, and Robutler compensates both the creators whose apps get used and the makers behind the work they remixed; a move away from software rentals toward something built collectively by its community.
The Infrastructure Layer Behind the Apps
What drew ZAS Ventures’ investment is the layer running beneath those applications. Robutler’s Web of Agents allows apps and AI agents to find each other and collaborate using natural language, with the platform linking to outside AI assistants and coding agents, including Claude and Codex.
The company has filed three patent applications covering how agents discover each other, how trust is ranked, and how app usage is tracked for maker payouts. It has also published its TrustFlow research on arXiv and developed two open protocols, Agent OAuth and UAMP, designed to handle identity verification and messaging between agents across different organisations.

“Most AI companies are building a better tool. Volodymyr is building the place tools come from,” said Andrew Zinchuk, Founder and Managing Partner of ZAS Ventures. He explained that the firm’s first investment in Robutler was driven by what sits beneath the apps; the discovery, trust, and payment systems connecting agents, calling it a critical missing piece for the emerging agentic internet that few others are building. He added that backing a Ukrainian founder building foundational infrastructure out of Silicon Valley is precisely the kind of opportunity ZAS Ventures was created to support.
